Regina is the major city in the southern part of the province of Saskatchewan. It is the commercial centre of southern Saskatchewan and a cultural metro pole for both southern Saskatchewan and American states. It attracts numerous visitors from the hinterland for the relative strength of its business, theatre, concerts and restaurants. Regina is a popular destination for relgious visitors because it houses the Roman Catholic and Romanian Orthodox Dioceses of Regina and the Anglican Diocese of Qu’Appelle.
