Château Frontenac in Winter

The Château Frontenac Hotel is one of the most photographed pieces of architecture in Québec City. It was named in honour of Louis Buade, Count of Frontenac, who was governor of the colony of New France. It’s 605 rooms offer an unparalleled level of luxury and service, with most of them furnished in French style. The in-house restaurants also serves various continental and regional cuisines to enjoy. Although the summer months tend to be the busiest for the hotel, one will often find the Château Frontenac just as busy in the winter, as equally as beautiful covered with snow, ice and lights.
