Port Dalhousie Sunset

Port Dalhousie is a charming, historic harbor front community, on the southern shores of Lake Ontario. It is the last stop of the first three Welland canals, built in 1820, 1845 and 1889. The rich heritage can be seen in the unique historical structures, two lighthouses built in the late 1900’s, a wonderful carousel offering rides at only 5 cents a piece and the small jail house that was constructed in 1845. The area all around Port Dalhousie has been refurbished including galleries, eclectic boutiques, restaurants, and boat cruises. The scenery alone is one of splendor and grandeur.
