Marineland, located in Niagara Falls, Ontario, is a huge ‘marine amusement park.’ It is surrounded by the swimming pools, water slides, adventure golf and a children’s zoo. Dolphins, seals, sea lions, sharks and a variety of other sea life call Marineland ‘home’ along side the popular orcas, also known as killer whales. The whales are warm blooded, air breathing mammals and are able to stay out of the water for short periods of time (20 to 30 hours) if given proper care.
