The Shania Twain Centre, which honors “Canada’s Favourite Country Singer”, was dedicated with a special celebration over the Canada Day long weekend when it opened in the summer of 2001. An Electronic Guest book Kiosk is now set up to allow visitors to send Shania Twain Centre “e-postcards” to friends and family. The Shania Twain Centre also won the Best Original Float award in the 13th annual Timmins Christmas parade.
