Hike up the Granite Bluffs
Just south of Lake Nipissing you can hike or mountain bike to the top of the high granite bluffs of Restoule Provincial Park. At the top of the bluffs sits an old fire tower where one can view the streams, swamps, campgrounds, paths and small footbridges throughout the park. These towering bluffs of granite and bedrock and dark lakes surrounded with red pines characterize the starkly beautiful scenery at Restoule Provincial Park. While there are several campgrounds throughout the park, it is home to otters, pine martens, moose, coyotes, wolves, bears and over 90 species of birds.
