Pointe au Baril is a beauty of Northeastern Ontario with miles of rivers, lakes and trails leading to the islands, bays and inlets of Georgian Bay. The lighthouse opens for tours in the summer months and is a part of a light system which includes a range tower and a turn float, which work together to allow safe passage through the many shoals that covers the eastern coast of Georgian Bay. The Pointe au Baril lighthouse is accessible by water only.
