TTC Subway - Osgoode Station

In March 1954, after five years of work, the first subway in Canada opened to the public. The original Yonge Street subway line went from Union Station north to Eglinton station. Shown here is Osgoode Station, which opened in 1963 and forms part of the TTC Yonge-University-Spadina line – the oldest subway line in Toronto, currently composed of 32 stations and traveling over 30 kilometres (19 miles).
