Low Tide

Halls Harbour is one of the premiere locations along the Bay of Fundy coastline in which to view the world’s highest tides. At low tide one can see fishing boats sitting on the ocean floor and miraculously six hours later the same boats are floating at the top of the wharf. Billions of tons of seawater create a 13 metre (42 foot) height clash at high tide. This experience itself is well worth to visit. Breathe the ocean air, listen to the waves crashing on the shore with seabirds and eagles, and, of course, make sure to visit The Lobster Pound.
