Halifax is very enjoyable during the summer months to the middle of fall. Temperatures do tend to rise a bit during the summer but with the cool breeze off the Atlantic, every day can be enjoyed without extensive heat. In the fall, the nights are cool and crisp with the magnificent colors of fall all around. Halifax’s weather can change without warning, one day it can be rather warm in April and then the following a snowstorm blankets the ground. Halifax offers multicolored autumns; gentle winters, warm springs and cool summers make the city pleasurable any time of year.
