A Lobster's Point of View

Nova Scotia is located on Canada’s southeastern coast. It is the most populous province in the Maritimes, and its capital, Halifax, is the economic and cultural centre of the region. Nova Scotia is the second smallest province (by area) in Canada. Lobsters are an economically important type of seafood, the basis of a global industry that nets $1.8 billion in trade annually. Lobsters live on rocky, sandy, or muddy bottoms from the shoreline to clear of the edge of the continental shelf. They generally live alone in cracks or in tunnels under rocks. It is a common site to see lobster traps when you drive along Nova Scotia’s scenic roads.
