White Head Island Harbour

Grand Manan Island is an island in the province of New Brunswick, and the largest in the Bay of Fundy. It is also the primary island in the Grand Manan Archipelago, sitting at the boundary between the Bay of Fundy and the Gulf of Maine. Grand Manan was initially included as part of the British colony of Nova Scotia until it was included in the new colony of New Brunswick. White Head is an island of 180 people off the coast of Grand Manan in New Brunswick. Its economy is based entirely around aquaculture and fishing. Aquaculture is the cultivation of the natural produce of water such as fish or shellfish, algae and other aquatic organisms.
