The Mantario Trail is a trail in south-eastern Manitoba, Canada. It is named Mantario because part of the trail crosses over into the province of Ontario, although most of the trail is in Manitoba - in the Whiteshell Provincial Park. It runs 66 kilometers (41 miles) through rugged Canadian Shield (Precambrian Shield) country. The south trailhead is north of Westhawk Lake and the north trailhead on the north side of Big Whiteshell Lake. This is definitely a trail designed for experienced and well-prepared backpackers.
