The Stanley Theatre

The Stanley Theatre
Originally opened in 1931 as a vaudeville and moviehouse, the Stanley Theatre was re-opened to the public in October 1998 after an intensive “Save the Stanley” campaign in the mid-90s. Currently under the management of the Arts Club Theatre, the Stanley Theatre has been officially changed to The Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage after it received a $1.5 million donation from Vancouver-based Industrial Alliance Pacific Life Insurance Company. This now historic landmark seats 650, and is currently home to musicals, theatre productions and comedies.
