Nitobe Memorial Garden

Located at the University of British Columbia, the Nitobe Memorial Garden is associated with the UBC Botanical Garden and Centre for Plant Research. It is a traditional Japanese garden and is considered to be one of the most authentic Japanese Tea and Stroll Gardens in North America, and is often considered to be among the top five outside of Japan. While the garden is open throughout the year, some of the more popular visiting times include April and May when the cherry trees are in blossom and early Fall for the stunning autumn colors, particularly those of the maple trees, that fill the garden.
