Also know as Hatchery Creek, Granite Creek flows into Lakelse Lake down through Lakelse Lake Provincial Park. In the summer months, there are beautiful paths that line the creek for hiking and bird watching, and the winter months feature striking ice and snow, as is common in Northern British Columbia. Granite Creek was the site of a sockeye salmon hatchery operated by the Canadian Government between 1919 and 1936.
