The Lethbridge Brewery Garden in Alberta has the highest bridge of its type. The high level bridge was constructed in 1909 and its viaduct design reached the height of 95.7 metres (314 feet) and a length just over 1.6 kilometres (1 mile). The bridge, known as the Brewery Garden Bridge or the Lethbridge Bridge, is 7 metres (23 feet) higher on the west end than on the east and cost approximately $1.3 million. The Lethbridge Brewery Garden, which welcomes people to the area, is a great place to view the high level bridge as well as tour the gardens and learn a little more about the area.
