Johnson Canyon Falls - Winter Icicles
Johnson Canyon Falls, located in Banff National Park, is a site to see during the winter with the snow white backdrop and the big icicles suspended from the falls. Many individuals visit Banff National Park in Alberta each year to get a taste of nature and the waterfalls are one of the favorite stopping points. Of course, in winter the Johnson Canyon falls offer a completely different awe inspiring view than they do in the summertime. When you visit Johnson Canyon there are many catwalks that give you an amazing vantage point of the canyon and the falls. There are upper falls and lower falls and you can get pretty close to enjoy a spray in summer and perhaps a close glimpse of a big icicle in winter.
